Navigating Nantou

I am an Instagram frequent user. I follow many travel destination accounts. While scrolling and scrolling down the homepage, I saw photo taken in Hehuanshan. It was a dark night sky sparkled with ocean of stars and dressed in milky way. I remembered that my friend had ever send me a website link talking about this beautiful place. I wanted to go there eagerly as I wanted to see the milky way stars directly with my own eyes.

That night, May 14th 2016, me and my 22 friends traveled on a bus to Hehuanshan. Hehuanshan is a 3,416 high mountain which its peak is in the boundary of Nantou and Hualien, central of Taiwan. We arrive there at midnight. There is a 7-11 store there. They said that it is the highest seven eleven store in Taiwan.

It was cold outside so we waited inside the bus. Sadly, the sky was cloudy. We barely could see stars in the sky (so so so sad). That was okay. I could go there again sometimes to execute my star hunting plan. Hehuanshan is also famous for its sunrise and cloud ocean. So, we waited for the sunrise time. At around 5 a.m., the sky was getting brighter. We went outside the bus and prepared to watch the beauty of sunrise. Dark sky was slowly changed to bright and yellow one. But, the sun was not clearly seen. Of all, the sky was still beautiful and so worth it to be captured. Nature's beauty always makes you amazed in a certain way, more over its Creator.

What a gracious greetings from God that morning! We could not exclude Qingjing Farm when we were in Nantou. The bus slide downside to bring us in front of Qingjing Farm. Qingjing Farm is famous for its green valley and sheep cattle. I've seen this farm in my friends' photos and some Instagram's photos before which made me put this place in my to go list. Finally, we arrived there at 9 a.m. (open time). This farm was green and beautiful. It remembered me about a kids' cartoon, Teletubies who lived in a placed like this. Wherever you went, the only things you could see were only two thumbs up landscapes.  There was also a sheep show in afternoon. Temperature was really changed back then. Hehuanshan was cold but this farm was very hot~

Exploring Qingjing Farm took my whole afternoon time. We were too hungry too continue walking. We went out to eat something. We ate one of Taiwan's most famous dishes, steamed chicken >.< so yummy. This journey had not stopped yet. We went downtown and visited a museum. It was a beer museum where people sold various foods containing  beer.

Next one, we visited the Presidental bla bla ( I forget the name). There are statues of presidents which are made of stones. Else, there are human-sized chessboard.

So, this place wrapped up our one day trip to Nantou. Physically, I felt exhausted. But, psychologically, I was very glad. I successfully achieved to visit Hehuanshan and Qingjing. Thank you for all of my friends who made this journey became a reality. A trip won't be a good one without good friends.

Keep moving readers ^^
