One day there were a group of students discussing about where they should go on April's holiday. There were some tourist places summoned in the discussion. The discussion took a long time until almost the day to go. Finally the discussion came to a conclusion. And this was when the journey started.

It was the 1st of April, at dawn, where these students started their trip. Accompanied by dark sky and breeze, two girls walked from the dormitory inside the school. Meeting two more friends at Neili Station, they took the first train to Taipei Main Station. They transfer to bus which took them to Chiayi Train Station.

Travelling from Taipei to Chiayi took approximately 4 hours. When these students arrived at Chiayi, they looked for a place to eat. Some said that Chiayi is famous for its Turkey Rice. They walked around the station and finally stop at a restaurant. This restaurant was not a big one, but many people ate there. That was why they decided to choose it. The turkey rice as well as some cooked vegetables were cheap, only around NT 30-50. After gulping those food, they headed back to the station.

They needed to go to Fengqihu because their booked hotel was there. Actually, they can take a bus to go there, but they need to wait and wait. An aunt approached them and asked them whether they wanted to go to Fengqihu by car or not. After negotiating with a driver, they took a car to go there. Fengqihu is a natural place because it is located in mountainous area. The temperature was warm, neither cold or hot. They found the booked hotel. The receptionist welcomed them warmly and gave the room key. Else, the receptionist gave information about famous lunchbox and walking trail around Fengqihu. The most famous lunchbox restaurant were closed when they went there.

So, they bought another lunchbox which costed around NT 100 with big portion and delicious. Luckily, the hotel was located in the old street. There are many foods and souvenir sold in the old street.
That evening the sky seemed gloomy and covered with fog. These students took a walk alongside the walking trail. The trail passed through forests. Nature is a good place to retreat from the city's hectic life. The scenery was beautiful and green yet misty.

Besides a good scenery, one place that could not be missed in Fengqihu is the old train station. The station was not used now, so the students could have a walk there.

Sky was getting darker and darker and those fellas went back to the hotel, They had their lunchbox eaten in the hotel while having a chit and chat. Then they headed to the room and waited for 2 a.m. because they were going to start their second day journey to Alishan.
It was 2 a.m. when they were packing their things and headed to Alishan by car. That dawn, the temperature was cold, around 11 C. They arrived at Alishan at around 4 a.m. It was freezing outside. Surprisingly, there had been so many people lining up for taking the train to the top of Alishan. These students were no exception. They took the train and arrived at the top. So many people were waiting to see the sunrise and saved a good spot. Many cameras were ready to shoot the beautiful scenery. The sunrise were said to come out at 5.50, but the fact was they could not see the sunrise. The sky suddenly became bright and that was it.

They walked down and started to explore Alishan. Alishan is one of Taiwan's famous travel destination, especially on March and April as the Sakura flowers are blossoming there. The mountain trail was very far and exhausting. They need to go upstairs, downstairs, and so on. But, the view seen along the trail was very worth it. It looked like that they were character in a movie who got lost in a beautiful forest. There were trees, lakes, valley, stairs, and many more welcoming them on the journey. They took about 3 hours to finish walking around Alishan. At 9 a.m. there were many tourists came here so the place got crowded. Thankfully, they could take some beautiful photos before those people arrived.

Finally, these students took a rest and wait for the lunch time. They have a nice lunch as their stomach might be hungry of long walking and calories burnt. It was the time to say goodbye, Alishan! Thank you for your warm welcome as well as your nice goodbye for these students .
