Last winter break (January) I went back to Indonesia. I took AirAsia flight as it can go to Yogyakarta. Taking this flight, I needed to transit in Malaysia. I took the night flight and I arrived at KLIA around 5 a.m. Most of my friends said that it is impossible to go out of the airport within 10 hours transit. But, I did it.
I took the 6 a.m. bus to the downtown Central Station. It took almost one hour arriving at this station. It was 7 a.m., but the fact was the sun had not risen yet. It was still dark. It was very different from Indonesia and Taiwan. From there, I start my journey. I travel to some spots such as Pasar Seni, Merdeka Square, Petaling Street, and some streets nearby. I was only accompanied by my selfie stick and backpack while having this short trip.

After having a sightseeing around this area, I move to Petronas Tower. This tower is one of Malaysia's landmark. I spend some hours there to walking around and had my breakfast. What was my breakfast? It is a very very very famous dish from Malaysia, Nasi Lemak. One who travel to this country should try this food. It is very similar with Indonesia's food, nasi uduk ( I like it). This similarity might be because Malaysia is just near Indonesia.

As I still have some hours, I decided to go back to Pasar seni. It is recommended to buy souvenirs in Pasar Seni as you can find cheap and various souvenirs. Pasar Seni was more crowded at afternoon than my first visit because all stores were open at this hour. At 1p.m. I go back to central station to go to KLIA2. It was the time to say good bye to Malaysia and hello to my lovely country, Indonesia!

NB: of all my short trip including buying souvenirs and foods, I spent only around Rp500.000;
So, if you feel suffocated waiting inside the airport, you can go out and have some fresh air within a low budget.
Keep moving readers ^^
